Maybe I will go back and see it through sometime. In other news, my latest grab bag of recs: Amy Schumer's latest special on Netflix is deft and witty, subtler than what I had seen from her in the past. The History Channel 3-part documentary on FDR is up to their usual standard for their profiles. Always more interesting tidbits to learn about even the most famous people. We are two episodes into HBO's "White House Plumbers" with Woody Harrelson stealing the show. If this is even halfway true, it was a much bigger bunch of clowns involved than I knew before. Aussie cop dramedy "Deadloch" was more stupid than funny. Felt like a poor attempt to rip off "No Offence." Looking forward to new "Endeavour" and another new show on PBS this Sunday after their long break. "Happy Valley" still destined to win every award in existence; four down, two to go in the final season.
