I have been meaning to contact CMTR about availability of their Cholestrak home test kit. I was in Target the other day and inquired about getting the test kit (I make it a point to see who is stocking it in our area). The pharmasist informed me that they have been unable to get the kit for one reason or another and have been trying to get it for months. Don't know how well informed he was or if it was just bs. Also, I heard that CMTR received a grant to develop a cholesterol test kit specifically for checking LDL. Has anyone heard any developments about this. An outfit called Geltex is working on a product called "?Cholestogel?" which is claimed to lower LDL in the bloodstream. Seems that if CMTR comes out with a test kit, it would be a candidate to be co-marketed with the Geltex product. Geltex is also working on another product which will eradicate the H. Pylori bacteria. Speaking of that... I know there have been inquiries about how CMTR's relationship with Astra/Merck will bode for the bottom line. Does anyone know when, if they aren't already, supposed to be realizing revenues from this relationship? It sure would be nice to see some press releases from the company. No news for too long isn't good for the stock price.
