Not surprised the market has me by the short hair at the moment.
Yesterday afternoon, I look at my sisters checking account to find a $2 paper statement charge. I had made it
electronic the first time I ever logged into it after we opened it.
From her account, through the portal, I email and explain that there should be no charge.
An hour later, I get an email that states that to fix this, I need to call a number. Call the number, and of course,
closed for the day.
Call today, and after being on hold for ten minutes, they ask for the last four of my social, and then, my
mothers maiden name. THEN I am told there is no POA on file, and I will need to go to the bank.
Go to the bank, speak to both tellers, am told there is nothing they can do, and I should wait for a big cheese
that is currently in a meeting with a customer. Should be 20 minutes. Ended up being 35 minutes.
Cheese says she shouldn't do anything until she copies my POA and it goes through the back office, but
she reimburses the $2 after I show her that I can log into the account.
Life is nothing but a series of problems to be solved. |
