I’ve read all the available history on U.S. interest in that region since Jim Baker’s, “NATO not one inch to the east” agreement. Obama 2005 visit. Hillary attempted take down in 2010 followed by the 2014 coup. To date no one has explained in a way that I can rationalize, What are we doing there? $74T in resources is my guess.
