American voters won't once again go for an "endless" high profile conflict.

What's the evidence that American voters won't go for an extended battle between Russians and Ukrainians and not Americans?

Russia v. Afghanistan indicates American voters will go quite a long time if someone else is fighting and dying.

Russian invasion of Ukraine will likely go down as one of the stupidest major geopolitical moves ... ever. Tops the US invading Iraq in terms of stupidity.
