Because this is largely how these guys get compensated.

I would hardly call it massive. More like a drop in the bucket compared to what they are NOT selling. The real question is, if they are selling for some sinister reason like some would like to believe (and like some do believe each and every time they sell) why aren't they selling a much much bigger percentage of their holdings. If they are indeed selling because "they may know something more fundamental and substantial than everyone on this thread combined", then why not sell all of it (or most of it) and buy it back later??

Need I remind you that there has been what you call massive insider selling many many times in the past while the stock continued to climb steadily onward.
