I don't have a problem with the people I vote for. You do. I am pragmatic. I vote for the candidate who I most identify with in terms of shared principles and values. If I vote for a Democrat, it does not mean that I support everything the candidate stands for. And it certainly does not mean that I support the party apparatus. I was an entrepreneur before I retired and worked very well with conservatives and liberals alike. When I deal with people face to face in the real world, I work with them congenially and make compromises without sacrificing my innermost values. I will give you an example that is close to my heart. My second wife is kosher. I am not. But I support my wife's kosher lifestyle ( and she respects my non-kosher lifestyle. She has her separate plates and I have mine. There is not a problem, never has been. I am open, flexible and accommodating. I believe in live and let live without placing restrictions on others.
