Re <<Chinese vehicles>> ... anything involving China we can put to bi-partisan, and anything involving Russia we can put down to different bi-partisan, but am guessing, and just a guess, 2-front war / 2-front hybrid war is not a good idea.
... and not just Chinese vehicles, but, if my Russian niece is not lying to me, she continues to tool around in her BMW 7 series, and spare parts are plentiful for all available from China China China because there are a lot of BMW 7 series tooling around in China, where they also make a lot of parts for BMW 7 series in Germany and USA;
makes sense, and if so, then not only for German cars but for all cars, German, Japanese, as well as American cars, and all parts would be in plentiful supply in Russia
In the meantime, China is being accused of infractions Message 34171482
Russia Is Building an Army of Robot Weapons, and China's AI Tech Is Helping
... and do not forget, there are a lot of old stuff in Russian warehouses requiring upgrade w/ slightly more modern control systems to make them fearless, literally. FYI, China T59 is same same as Russia T54, but locally manufactured, and more interoperable than not en.wikipedia.org but better once fitted w/ remote-drive feature
something tells me that Russia spies are diligently stealing Chinese IP in order to upgrade antique-y weapon systems, just as China allegedly stealing Russian knowhow to do w/ hypersonic stuff noted here Message 34324957
Ancient Russian T-54 Tank Turned Into Rolling Bomb Explodes In Massive Shockwave
In a new development, Russia appears to be using antique T-54/55 tanks as vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices.
Something to bear in mind is that T-54/55s cost less than $200,000 to make and the fleet is now fully depreciated. The only expense is to make them roadworthy. In contrast, price of a Javelin missile is now more than $200,000.
.@rferl obtained historical satellite imagery of the Arsenyev storage base. At least 191 tanks disappeared from there between July 12th and October 2nd, 2022. @planet imagery taken on Jul. 12, Aug. 19 and Oct. 2 was used for the video below. pic.twitter.com/KiqRah8E5a
