Prodigy has some very good things, as do all the services. I found I was spending almost all my online time on SI and minimally on a few other internet sites, mostly stock related. It made sense to pull in, to maintain fewer unlimited-time accounts, as more services began to offer unlimited-time. Prodigy's stock area diminished in value as SI grew.

I glumly concur with your note 107. I don't think much will be solved, since I've read scores of notes from some idiots saying "use the next button" and felt these notes were not intended to inform but to inflame. Similarly, the same sort of idiots would say "ignore her" not to inform but to inflame. Nevertheless I'm in agreement with the right to ignore, and don't think it would create more problems than it solves. I also agree with the thought that "The IGNORE BUTTON just gives me and you more choices, but it does not reduce anyone's rights" and like the preview function you mentioned. I want to read back over the notes tomorrow, because there were a few other good ideas there.
Yes, they still had their share of flame wars. Their rules were handled more consistently, however. Miscreants were informed about which rule they violated, with a copy of their offending post. This was a form letter, I believe, with blanks filled in by the staffers. They provided a certain number of such warnings with clear examples of the problem, before escalating to a suspension or lock out. I had the impression of a more uniform enforcement of the TOS.
