Well, in my opinion, no one should EVER have sex with an underling. There are issues of power and coercion and unfair advantage that, to me at least, really potentially tarnish the relationship. That is exactly why companies have policies against this. These are not my rules, Ignacio--they are widespread in America.

A long time ago, I worked in the marketing department of a winery, and the department head had a new secretary. He and this young woman discovered that they were very attracted to each other, seriously. So she resigned and got a job elsewhere (this was not a hardship; there were plenty of jobs available at the time), and then and only then did they start dating. They ended up getting married, for it was a true, ethical love, and I have always thought this was a noble way to conduct a relationship.
