Mondoman says: <<To understand a TAD you must realize it is the funding of an array of different ventures that are subsidized by ACRT to projects around the world>> Does this phrase make any sense? Please explain.

He continues: <<.Before these projects are funded they have to meet strict criteria by ACRT.>> Bore me with that bulleted list of criteria, and a list of projects.

And more: <<.We are not selling cars here or financing boats but major projects such as bridge building etc.I heard dumb comparisons to Mercury finance and other lenders.>> Once again, list the bridges. We are dumb. We understand the words, but not the concepts. You may illustrate your explanation with a crayon.

And the grand finale: << Bottom line is that they are playing with the big boys now on a grand scale and future profits in this company will be huge....just track the past few quarters....and one more thing ...they are not selling air conditioners but are subsidizing the huge units on the top of sky scrapers in total construction projects around the world>> My guess is the 'Bottom line' is that you need to adjust your dose of lithium. This message appears to be a word salad; a flight of ideas pure and simple.

For those of you who eagerly clutch the filing by the Richard Driehaus group: do you know his record? If not I suggest that you look at the New York Times profile from 1996. Having him on board is like having Jeff Vinik on board. It helps the price as he comes on, when he leaves, he often craters it. Momentum, get it?

Once again, help out fools like me. Very slowly, someone please explain what a TAD does that is unique.

To me it appears to be less a new paradigm and more a rearrangement of the ashtrays in a pawn shop lobby. I believe in magic, but I don't invest in magic.
