Tenchu's Thoughts: Hell's Kitchen

Random thoughts on Master Chef Prigozhin's little putsch:

- This didn't feel like a calculated power play. Instead, this felt like an angry reaction from a man who just realized he was about to be eliminated the Hardaway.

- 25,000 Vagner thugs just rose up, shot at, and killed their own people. That's how loyal they are to the Master Chef.

- At Rostov, the first city that Vagner took over, the population there is one million, so it's a sizable city. Reports are that none of the locals there tried to oppose Vagner. Instead, Vagner was welcomed by some.

- PooTin looked like a complete coward. Instead of saying, "I need ammo, not a ride," he said, "Get me the F outta here!" That's gonna cause the PooTin cucks to permanently lose their erections. On the other hand, maybe they can be Prigozhin cucks instead.

- Word is that Sergay and Valerie are on their way out. This was part of the deal that Lukashenko, who has been personal friends with both PooTin and the Master Chef for 20 years, brokered. This might be bad news for Ukraine, who has up until now has benefitted from the incompetence of Sergay and Valerie.

- On the other hand, the putsch revealed just how hollow and unstable RuZZian society became. How this will play out is anyone's guess. I hate to say it given how cliche it sounds, but we can only expect the unexpected.

What if ...

- Let's say the putsch continued all the way, and Master Chef Prigozhin then pushes PooTin out and becomes supreme leader of RuZZia. Would that have worked out?

Hard to say. The RuZZian Ministry of Offense would definitely benefit from better leadership. However, the olicucks and the elitists who gave PooTin "legitimacy" may not have been as supportive of the Master Chef. Besides, the Master Chef is a thug, not a bureaucrat nor a politician. So while the military would have won out from the coup, the rest of society could have imploded.

- What if the Master Chef instead limited his power play to just deposing Sergay and Valerie, then taking their places himself? You know, leave PooTin alone?

This I doubt would have been possible. PooTin himself feels extremely betrayed by the Master Chef's backstab, so I don't think he would have tolerated this forced transition, especially if it came at the cost of RuZZian lives.

Ukraine's Hand in the Putsch

- Ukraine's decision to fight it out in Bakhmut, down to the last city block, turned out to be a good decision. Without the high losses that RuZZia suffered in taking the city, this putsch would never have happened.

- Now the final question on everyone's mind: How should Ukraine take full advantage of the past 24 hours?

I say stick to the original plan, even if progress is slower than expected.

Reports are that RuZZian losses per day are back up to Bakhmut levels. Thanks to Ukraine's maneuver warfare, they are taking pockets of RuZZian defenders every day, shooting down more helicopters (which don't come cheap), making small territorial gains, all while avoiding extreme levels of casualties (though they are still heavy, because you know, going on offense is hard work).

Keep this up, and PooTin will have to initiate yet another round of "mobilization." Then we'll see whether his house of cards can continue to stand.

Because by all objective measures, PooTin's days are truly numbered, and NATO has the right idea. Continue supporting Ukraine and hasten the demise of PooTin's regime.

Closing Thoughts

When PooTin's war of choice started, the goal was regime change in Kyiv.

Then the goal became regime change in Washington (a.k.a. Operation Q)

Now RuZZia will be lucky to avoid regime change in Moscow.
