(1) my high school era summer tasks were, in order of priority
(1-i) trim Christmas trees and goof-off w/ friends, but getting the tasks done and done well, getting paid, and all whilst drinking soda and afterwards, beer
(1-ii) swim in the lake and walking the gorges, with friends, and goofing off
(1-iii) playing chess, winning and losing, and goofing off
By my read would be difficult to keep the Coconut and the Jack sharpening pencils w/ or w/o free lunches
(2) the Coconut did her tutoring phase I, continuing her zoom / remote internships w/ Hollywood / NYC movie production / investment outfit, doing location research and related tasks for an unrelated but big-time producer / director in midst of big movie production, researching some soft-news story for a TV channel, and now started her summer writing master class, making new friends, meeting old friends, getting together w/ college suite mate, and hanging out to hang out
(2) Jack is ... doing chores (counting / sorting coins in the pot), learning (fencing, mathematics, English composition, piano, badminton, and Chinese) and goofing off with friends on and off-line, going bang bang bang pew pew pew boom boom boom kaboom kaboom kaboom, and splash splash splash
