This is a great summary of the methods by which governments support the folly of their big contributors with money earned by the sweat of the citizens. It is outrageous, and we should all write our congressmen and senators and let them know that they will pay at the polls if they vote our money for these purposes.

Yes, I know, the party line is that terrible destabilization and (gasp!) a decline in the stock market might occur if we don't bail out those big banks again. Tough noodles, I say.
