Hi O/49r, Further on the subject of timing. One of the things I and a lot of other people here are waiting for is the DOW to crash/correct/whatever. At which point the assumption is the virtues of gold start to re-assert themselves, our own favorite index (XAU) starts a ride off to similar outrageous overvaluations, we all make fortunes and retire in the sun !! <VBG> Seriously though, an obvious test of this hypothesis is a look back at the hiccup last October, which I did and it doesn't look good. see for example: stocksite.com ABX fell off a cliff like everything else (and the paterrn was repeated by a number of other golds I looked at). What do you think will happen to the Golds if the Dow does finally 'crack' ? Regards, Michael
