How does everyone here feel about the mkts? Are we still in a bull trend with further to
go to the upside?


So, the people who sell stocks want us to buy them. No surprise. As far as the bull market is concerned, my God, yes, we are still in it. Why and for how long? Beats the hell out of me.

I guess one of the characteristics of a bull market is its ability to shrug off anything. "Nuclear missles have been launched? Stock market gains 200 points in next hour. Brokers' phones are swamped with orders for defense stocks and 100 year bonds at 50 basis points over treasurys."

Philosophical question: Where does a bull market stop and a mania begin? I suspect the question is answered only in retrospective analyses.
