"What's the point of establishing Juneteenth as a federal holiday, if it doesn't solve a damned thing?" If that's the criteria, there shouldn't be any federal holidays. WTF does XMas solve? President's Day? Labor Day? -- "All of these things haven't fixed a damned thing." I didn't know they were supposed to fix things. That the job for civil rights and voting rights legislation, and the courts (Brown v Board, Loving vs Va). == "Over a half century of left-wing policies have failed" Perhaps you've forgotten what it was like before we had the legislation I just mentioned.
