You need only review the 1997 analyst comments concerning AMD, Cyrix and Intel - predicting rapid market decline for Intel and the rapid ascension of AMD and Cyrix into mainstream PCs. The stock prices these analysts predicted (AMD = $90) bear witness to their naivete in assessing the semiconductor marketplace. Paul
