I was at the funeral today saying goodbye to Alysson Paulinelli. A sad farewell, but full of gratitude for the moments lived. The photo I share now, captured at the top of our mine with the vast blue sky in the background, serves as a reminder of the ephemerality and priceless value of life. It's only been a few days since I visited Alysson in the hospital. He was fine, talkative, making plans, looked like he was about to be discharged. Just last week, he had left the need for oxygen behind, everything indicating a recovery. The expectation of seeing him again this week was high. Then the startling news: his health had deteriorated rapidly, and suddenly nothing more could be done. Life is a breath, short and unpredictable. This serves as a reminder not to take for granted moments with those we love. Every conversation, every laugh, every interaction, no matter how simple, is precious and makes up the fabric of our existence. Therefore, in this time of mourning, I want to emphasize the importance of valuing the present and appreciating every moment we have with our loved ones. Life is beautiful, complex, but also ephemeral. And it is our duty to make every moment worthwhile. Alysson, though you are gone, your presence and influence remain alive in our hearts. Rest in peace, my friend
