According the the financial times, Apple is scaling back AVP production plans reuters.com They also say that they are pushing back plans for a non professional model. Saw the article initially of PED30 and financial times has a paywall so I posted the link to the Reuters version of the story. Don't we usually see this type of story for a good number of Apple's innovative product introductions? Honestly, I don't think it is an issue with demand. I think that will be there. The question has always been how many can they build while making sure the quality is up to Apple's standards? Who even knows if this story is true but if it is, the wait for an AVP will be a long one.
