Anthony Shaffer was a lieutenant colonel in the army, a CIA-trained intelligence officer, and currently works for Virginia law enforcement. He was running a very serious investigation into Jesse Morgan's allegation that USPS had him drive a truck of completed ballots from NY to PA.

After Shaffer had determined that Morgan's story was credible, he contacted Ed Meese who contacted William Barr. 10 minutes later, Barr called up Shaffer and threatened him, had him fired, and arrested Morgan.

Potential crimes:
  • Barr threatened a private citizen to shut down an investigation
  • Barr refused whistleblower protection for Morgan
  • Barr had Morgan interrogated without an attorney
