Good afternoon Roger,

"The ALTIF financials were even in Canadian dollars through the end of 1996" You are absolutely correct. However, let me pose you a couple of questions. If a company only traded on a Canadian exchange, would they not have to also register in Canada? As you know, ALTIF did not start trading on NASDAQ-small cap on March24,1997. Therefore, is it surprising to anyone that prior to listing on an American exchange, that their earnings were in Canadian dollars? The entire point to this discussion is that there is a difference in the terms BASED and where a company is REGISTERED...especially if the location of their registration was due to the fact that they were ONLY trading in Canada at the time.
The reason why this is a very important distinction is that anyone who has been following the goings on in the Toronto/Vanc./Alberta stock exchanges in regards to the mining sector would surely appreciate. I find it very difficult to believe that someone saying that Altair is BASED out of Canada is not attempting to take advantage of the situation in Canada. Finally, could anyone please point to any meaningful office work conducted by this company outside of their Wyoming/Nevada offices(i.e. Canada)

PS I will contact Altair next week and find out the status of their trading symbol and whether or not it is influenced by the fact that they are still trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange. I will post any information that I find out on this question.
