Just to inform the visitors here Fidelity allows you to sell puts in their SPAXX account which is a treasury bill account and yields are 25-50 basis points below the current treasury bill average rate. Does any other brokerage allow that? Most firms penalize you with a paltry .35% return in their cash account. It may be worth it gaining a 4%+ annual arbitrage on your total cash balance.

One thing I am not at all impressed by Fidelity's trading platform so it might be wise to keep some funds in the one you prefer and ideally use 2 computers to perform the necessary transactions.

The other valuable free service is the Fidelity provides a comprehensive earnings calendar with estimates if you happen to initiate trades off of increased implied volatility around those dates.
