Bamareb,
Interesting, but let's look at these filings objectively:
A) This first combined transactions (75,000 shs tot) by Dr Faris and another officer of AIPC are old. We've talked about this for a number of times since January. Don't know why this guy keeps posting it over and over.
S $321,300 75,000shs (who)2-C,O (when(12/31/97 - 12/02/97 (price) 4.28 (when filed) 1/16/98
B) This one is also old. This Form 144 below was first filed by Dr Faris on December 19, 1997. Then, it was re-filed on 1/16/97. Actually, this is not a sale yet. It's only a declaration of an intent to sell in the future.
144 $1,145,000 240,669shs (who)1-E (price) 4.76 (when filed) 1/16/98
C) However, this last one below is new. Wherein a Form 144 filing was followed with an actual disbursement of shares (145,000) by the chairman.
S $608,369 145,000shs (who)1-C (when)1/29/98 - 1/05/98 (price) 4.20 (when filed) 2/13/98
As said before, just like anybody else the chairman (C or E) and the other officer(O) may have sold portions of their holdings to support their personal or family needs or other investments activities, etc. Having said that, don't be surprised to see another 95,669 (240,669 less 145,000) shares to be sold soon or within the next 30-60 days.
Nevertheless, 240,669 does not even constitute 10% of Dr Faris holding. Again, it shouldn't concern anybody. I think the man has over 4 million shares of AIPN in his possession. As a shareholder, the one thing that could spook me concerning this filing is if Dr Faris sold 50% or more of his shares at these levels. However, if he decides to sell most or all of them when the stock hits over $20, then I'll be more than happy to join him.
Keep the faith!
