Stan, re: "the most recent [Newsweek] add is for Ditto (the others were for Zip)"

You can't advertise everything all the time. One problem Iomega seems to have is the public perception that it is a one-trick pony (Zip). Somehow the word has to get out there that there are other products out there for other uses.

On another front, about Pinnacle Micro, if Iomega were to go into the recordable/rewritable CD market (speculation from another poster, not mine), you would _still_ have the detractors shouting "DVD's going to kill it, don't be a fool!" unless the company went *that* way. It might be nice to have a high-end solution for rich-kids' "stuff," though.
