Both Trump and DeSantis have their home residences in Florida.

One of them would have to "move" to another state in order for DeSantis to run as Trump's VP in 2024.
Federal election laws require the Presidential and VP have different home states.

Impossible for DeSantis as the state's governor to move out of Florida.
Also unlikely that Trump would be willing to changed his home state just to have DeSantis as his running mate.
