Goliath Resources (GOT-V) cheered word that it has drilled visible gold and 12.47 near-surface metres of "highly-mineralized quartz-sulphide-rich breccia" within the Surebet Golden Gate feeder zone. Better yet, the two headline results are not coincidental: The visible gold sighting was a one-millimetre nugget found within a 1.17-metre interval of the same breccia, lying deeper within the same hole.

This is the sixth sighting of visible gold from within the Surebet-Golden Gate feeder zone, the company beams, and it is the fourth sighting this year alone. In mid-June, the company noted the presence of visible gold in the first hole drilled in its 2023 program. That first hit had Mr. Rosmus, chief executive officer, suitably enthused. "We are off to an exciting 2023 drill season," he cheered, adding that the visible gold came from a 250-metre stepout into a previously unknown area of mineralization.

Just a week ago, Goliath touted the presence of several grains of visible gold over multiple metres in three of five holes into the feeder zone. Mr. Rosmus was again beside himself with glee, cheering the news as "certainly keeping enthusiasm high for what's left to come this season." Those hits "exceeded our expectations," he gushed, adding that the work "further confirms our hypothesis of a very large feeder system at depth." Today, however, he was silent -- as the new sighting was perhaps becoming old hat for even the excitable Mr. Rosmus.
