Thread Nice to read about South Koreas recovery in Barron's today. Really a well wrote article on how they are definitely leaders in Asians recovery and far ahead of any others. Jerome Booth, head of markets research at ANZ Investment Banking predicts that Korean treasuries could trade with a yield less than two percent above treasuries, which is pretty remarkable considering they they traded at eight to nine percent higher just a few months ago. Analysts are also looking for a ratings upgrade by spring. I personally admire the resolve of these people to get their feet back on the ground. How many citizens gave gold from personal inventories to help their country recover. They are a cut above the crowd. I would give a URL to the article however Barrons does not allow that.
