Apple is on the hunt for generative AI talent Considering SIRI came out fairly early... one has to wonder... who dropped the ball with AI at Apple? Personally I already totally hate it when computers try to "help" me before I ask... they get in my way mostly. Then when I seek help its not to be found. But I will say Apple's help for older products sucks, so I'm hoping AI will improve that immeasurably, even if they have fallen behind on AI. We'll see I guess. We'll know when I'm trying to find a feature on Logic Pro that their interface designers hid... the reason I'm still using LP9 not LP10... instead of upgrading I paid a lot more for software that plugs into LP9. Their interfaces are also the reason I've put off buying a new Mac for a decade. Somebody at Apple who should know better decided to not oversee their interface designers. These designer people don't care about usability... they care about screenshots for their portfolio for their next job, seriously. When people complain the designers make sure the complaint DOES NOT go to the manager above them. Apple's manager who oversees interfaces obviously doesn't understand that paradigm. Woosh! Bezos TOTALLY gets it. I will be buying a new Mac and LP10 eventually... but I'm in no hurry. It'll be when I have cash from liquidated investments... probably within 1.5 years. I was going to buy a studio pro until I found out about the nasty way they put in the SSDs.
