American wasn't founded SOLELY on the backs of slaves, though it PARTIALLY was.
Right, but The 1619 Project goes way beyond that.

It even got you to shift your perspective on the history of America, one that got you closer to a Black-centric narrative.

You're probably thinking to yourself right now, "WTF is wrong with that? As long as it helps Black America, I'm fine with that alternative perspective on historical events."

But it doesn't help Black America. All it does is create a fantasy. A Wakanda.

In a sense, it's the counterpart to "white supremacy."
