George Papadopoulos seeks Democrat emails from Russia

This one is hard to refute because there is nothing to it. It's like punching air. But it must be addressed because this was the predicate for a full-scale FBI counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign.

This is the feeble premise on which the FBI started their Trump investigation:
Alexander Downer said that George Papadopoulos had “suggested” to him that the Trump team had received “some kind of suggestion” of assistance from Russia regarding information damaging to Hillary Clinton.
Downer also said:
  1. The Russians were probably going to act whether Trump cooperated or not
  2. No indication this info was secret. It might be publicly available info.
  3. No indication how Trump campaign reacted

At the time Papa talked to Downer, the Wikileaks DNC emails hadn't been stolen yet. Hillary Clinton's emails could not be stolen because they had been deleted years ago (by Hillary after a subpoena had been issued). In other words, this story is pure nonsense.

Papa heard a story on Fox News that "the Russians have information" on Hillary. The next day, he was speaking to Alexander Downer and repeated this story. Months later, Downer passed the story along to the US. The FBI turned this report into the wild accusation that Papa was working with the Russians. They spied on Papa. Their surveillance found 174 exculpatory statements by Papa, which theyillegally excluded from the FISA warrant applications.

CHS: You don't think anyone from the Trump campaign had anything to do with the f***ing over the, at the DNC?

Papadopoulos: No

CHS: Really?

Papadopoulos: No. I know that for a fact.

CHS: How do you know that for a fact?

Papadopoulos: 'Cause I go, I've been working with them for the last nine months. That's (unintelligible) And all of this stuff has been happening, what, the last four months?
CHS: But you don't think anyone would have done it, like under, undercover or anything like that?

Papadopoulos: No, I don't think so…..There's absolutely no reason…First of all, it's illegal, you know, to do that s***. Noone would f$$$ing put their life at risk of going to jail for the next 50 years to hack some BS that may mean nothing.

FBI, Mueller, and Durham give different dates for Papa's meetings with Downer and Erika Thompson. These discrepancies were not clarified, despite Papa's centrality to the entire Russia collusion story. It's likely that digging into the details of these people would reveal they are all Western intel assets running an operation against Papa.

Papa met with Joseph Mifsud. FBI & Mueller pretended Mifsud was a "Russian agent" and then Mueller pretended he couldn't find him to interview/arrest him. In fact, Papa offered Mifsud's travel plans to Mueller. FBI/Mueller's refusal to pursue Mifsud proves he is a Western intel asset rather than a Russian.
