You are right, it would be illegal to trade on priviledged information.
What I really mean, with the potential this has to be a really big hit (or a really big bust), don't you think a lot of investors would be putting their money on the line at these prices and at this time?? Wouldn't there be a lot of speculation in this, a lot of interest, a lot of shares changing hands in anticipation? It seems throughout history there have always been investors putting their money on the table for a speculation such as this.
Where is the interest? Where's the volume? There has been plenty of time and talk for exposure. This could be a potentially big play, not to speak of the Turkey oil field. And SIR/ERB are trading like sleepy little stocks.
