now I'm smelling the trap-door --- or .... maybe it is just the un-picked up garbage at the end of the drive. You know ... garbage can get pretty nasty if it sits for 5 weeks in a row. All that to get me to arrange a different service. If I had known the new service was 1/2 the price, I'd have switched it way earlier. Now this is somewhat funny: I don't talk to one young neighbor much. However, I was passing by his yard the other day and noticed his bin was full to overflowing and I asked him if he had the same trash service as I. He said yes and hadn't been picked up since week prior to the 4th. I knew his in-laws around the corner had another service and I asked him how they liked it. He said they thought it was fine. Then I asked him -- are you switching? He said -- "I'd hate to do that now -- I have two more months of service coming." Hmmm ... not wasting the opportunity to have two more months of no garbage pickup. That would be an awful waste.
