The Hustle and Bustle or The Christmas Season. The hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season has transferred itself to warm memories. Occasional remarks remain to remind us of that busy noisy time. The Tale Continues (where the FP left off) The veterinarian looked over Donner's leg where the injury had occurred and pronounced the deer as fit as an East Coast fiddle, (read Ashley MacIssac). The relief on Mr Klaus' face was evident as he waited beside the doctor. A deer like Donner was irreplaceable for future Xmases. The fitness of Donner could be seen in the healthy way he moved and the flexing of his muscles. Christmas was still a long way away and Donner looked fit but would he be able to take to the air, only time would tell. The Feline stretched lazily from the sill where she had been watching the proceedings with interest, it appeared no free milk would be forthcoming. The veterinarian finished with re-packing his instrument bag, turned to Mr. Klaus and gave him all the usual admonishments, be very careful, something like that injury doesn't happen often, have some patience as well. Some tenderness may be evident, but the prognosis is good.
