From Samira: Since you guys make such a great effort to keep this thread alive and full of knowledge, I wanted to be in a small way an active part of it so I decided that I will post from Kuwait a wide variety of intelligence economic reports based on which our company charts its future course. So Ike has agreed and entrusted me the responsibility of posting on this thread the highlights of the Asian and global financial news, especially oil, commodities and any news which has some impact on the equity and financial markets. These posts will be a daily feature, like Brian Fukuba's briefing on COM reports and Chuck's "Idea of the Day" home thread, with the exception of Friday, the day I'm off. I have a small request of Chuck if he could post some of these strategic posts with long term repercussions on the home page so that we may have a real, as Ike puts it, value-added thread going up here.
