Way back I liked BROOKS for their automation. Best of class.
I bought them when they expensed the life sciences initially and BRKS went into negative earnings.
They paid a 10 cent quarterly dividend. Which in ZIRP WORLD, was not bad.
Sold puts on them and hoped they'd get assigned, some did.
I love the management team. If there is a really bad market, I'll buy them again, but they do not pay a dividend, so I'm gonna be a chicken theif. <smile>
Their cryo knowledge got them into a creative destruction market, but it is not the size of the semi market they previously owned and sold.
CEO is very smart and may be a bit geeky - a Doctor, CFO is country boy smart and gets er done the old fashioned way conservative. Both very sincere and hands on folks. They are always in my top 5 watch lists.
I will just chuckle if I can get them on the cheap again. It'll be here we go again.
I bet they grow quickly, but they are on a downside high level of business, coming off of Covid, an adjustment to monitor.

That's my take, and I could miss them.
For full dislosure, I missed them at 36, in the middle of an acquisition spree,. I was not sure I knew their cash per share number. $36.00 was close, but not verifiable at the time by myself.
