TINA! (the musical) If you like Tina Turner (and who doesn't?) or you just love a rousing musical- this one's for you. It's a beautiful production and I don't know how in the hell they got someone so much like Tina to do the music and dancing- but they did. With her recent death, the show is very poignant, but it's also just fantastic. I went with a busload of seniors, and because it was a matinee the Golden Gate Theater (a very lovely place) was FULL of seniors who, by the end, were all on their feet applauding and dancing in the aisles. Very special musical.
