The Constitution’s Bill of Rights (esp., the 1st, 4th., and 5th Amendments) are the epitome of natural rights with which we are born simply because we’re all humans. Everything China has done since Tianmen Square is antithetical to everything I believe: peace, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, freedom from censorship, etc. Its policies are anathema. Xi is a dictator, a brutal one. Social control and censorship suck. China is the world leader in both. But, hey, I still like gold. :) Can you write a sentence in response to me such as “Xi is a despot” without some fear of censorship or retribution? I guarantee you that a domestic Chinese poster would feel consequences. Here, I can freely say: Fuck Joe Biden and the CIA and all the warmongering idiots in Biden’s Administration. I am protected by law. Nothing can touch me for expressing my opinion. Can you or any Chinese citizen using Chinese internet say the same thing about Xi the Panda Man?
