Just returned from a trip to do some long range shooting in WV.

I'm about to pull the trigger (pun intended) on some land there.

While confirming zero and impacts with my friend who was shooting his .270 a sparrow landed on the 10in plate that he had just shot. While observing I said shoot the bird. He hit the sparrow at 220 yards. We were surprised that there wasn't an explosion of feathers until at the end of the day on range detail we when down to the target to find the bird. His shot had decapitated the bird.

Then I had the pleasure to go from cold bore zero on a brand new .300win mag with 6 rounds to do the following.

5rds to zero and 1 round first shot hit on the 700 yard human torso target. On that range they call that the "White Feather General" scenario in honor Carlos Hathcock. 700 yards was the distance he made his famous shot at.

I'm not running anywhere because there is nowhere to run too.

Buy the time of the 2024 election nobody will need to be told what to do.

There was a good segment on war room yesterday where a mother was talking about her children and financially struggling vs financially drowning.

I have to agree with her because I'm seeing it where I live.

I'm fortunate to have been blessed by God with financial resources, but I have seen it first hand where it is almost impossible for kids today to replicate what their parents have achieved because of inflation.

There is no Paul Volker coming after this Jimmy Carter administration. Plus that the was end of the interest rate up cycle, we are now in the beginning of a rising interest rate cycle and have 39 yrs to go to the climax.

There will have to be massive dislocations of capital before individuals can can even hope to out pace or keep pace.

The American dream is about to become a nightmare of just keeping a roof over your head much less having a McMansion.

Hard times are coming.

We are pissed in NC as well Shootie.
