Brumar, I'm going to tell you something that may save your life.

Do NOT stop firing until your target is neutralized.

Don't just take one shot and assume you can automatically hit your target at 10 feet away. You can and will miss, even at that distance, especially if you are in the act of drawing your firearm (and especially if you have to chamber a round in the heat of the moment).
