I found this message from Rick Cowles, who I guess is a leading expert on issues dealing with Electric Utilities and y2k.
I found it on a disscussion group at (euy2k.com)
Here is his comment on TAVA Tech's Planty2k One methodology...

"I spent some time reviewing the Tava product at their Westchester PA offices, and it's certanly a piece of the puzzle. Of most interest is their embedded controls methodology, and data repository. I don't believe they have "testing software" per se (i.e. something that you could non-intrusively hook up to a PLC and test the PLC throughput), but I could be wrong about that.

You can view their online demo at their website.
They put on a pretty neat little demonstration down at the EPRI conference the last week in January." unquote.

I'd say that was a pretty good review from a well-known and respected gentleman in the utility field. Maybe Tava's partnership with RW Beck will bear fruit soon!

By the way I saw on this thread a few days ago a post that Hanifan Imhoff was predicting a 4 cent loss for the December qtr. But, to paraphrase, they saw revenues increasing sequentially over the coming quarters. Does that sound about right?
