If things had worked out as planned, Merle would no doubt be the guest of honor at our party in the Cayman's. If Merle has as many shares as he told me he did when I last spoke to him (before the first halt of trading), he is no doubt hurting every bit as much as we are. All it would have taken was for the first large placement to go through instead of Bre-X managing to happen and screw up the entire mining industry. I remain optimistic that the Coni-X properties will amount to something, but we need the right people in place to make it happen. --James
