Looks like Icahn sold his HRI position

Carl Icahn - Icahn Capital Management - Dataroma

Holdings Activity Buys Sells History

---------------------------

I followed you into HRI 5/2023 at $95 last $134 +41% (still holding but small tracking position)

Icahn's initial buy was in Q2 2016 at $34; he started selling down his position at prices between $156 & $131 then closed the entire position Q1 2023.

Wonder what he saw?

Still learning when best to exit a position. Notice Icahn made one 4% add during this period.

Maybe the best strategy is buy your full position when it is at your value point and ride it out. I tend to scale in and hold for 18-24 months then scale out.
