One of the first hurdles that a new trader must understand is that there are a myriad of different trading styles discussed on these threads.. While it is important that we understand these styles it it not necessaraly wise to adopt any one of them. For example a lot of discussion is centered on SOES trading...If you are new at day trading SOES may be the last place for you to learn the ropes. As an analogy it would be better to start on the "bunny ski slope" rather than on the "Devils Canyon Run" if you are a novice skier.
