I think CPQ's use of other co's chips will soon weaken that Intel stronghold. Nowadays, people are quite willing to buy cheaper on-Intel PC's, realizing the quality & value of chips from such co's as AMD & Cyrix.

So, do you see Compaq pushing Alpha, soft peddling it, or dumping it completely? How do you see the DEC/Intel deal which gives Intel Alpha manufacturing rights factoring into the equation?
