US biotechs in general have not lived upto lofty expectations, even though few filtered thru FDA approval process. I recall (BUT NOT
CERTAIN) reading that in the last six yrs only TWO drugs made thru FDA approval from all the Biotechs in Califonia..I guess the nature of the business may account for many failures and all the Hype that goes with a hot sector.
