Bill,

I don't really want to see DELL or GTW to far in the dust! In the scheme of things, I see the small businesses migrating to CPQ as their business grows (hopefully) to where the services of a Non-Stop II (Tandem) or DEC mini are required. I believe that there will be a downward pressure on the low end computer systems by CPQ dropping the price. If DELL and GTW did disappear, there orders would have to go somewhere, and I would hope that CPQ would get a lot of those, but wouldn't the price go 'up' due to the inability to fill the orders left by the exit of DELL and GTW? I would rather have the technology spread as far and wide as possible for the least amount of money. If the world became one giant community, I would hope that our ability to get 'along' would get better, not 'worse'

Thoughts?

Ken
