Populations of China, Japan etc. 500 million people are plenty for China. 50 million more than than enough for Japan. I disagree that declining number of people is a bad thing. Quality not quantity is what matters. 100 million in China would be enough to be going on with. 1 billion people in the world is plenty. Heck, even 100 million would be enough for a vast gene pool and to get things done. Unfortunately the crazed Yanks wanting nuclear war could get to 100 million worldwide in a year following direct deaths followed by starvation following systems collapse, and local carnage. Mqurice
