I certainly cannot claim to be any sort of battery expert. I have read estimates that when these batteries are produced, there will be a shortage for the next two years. They'll sell all they can make. Just as band width seems to be the great limiting factor in net usage, battery life seems to be the limiting factor in notebooks and cell phones. Any small change will make the OEMs very happy and eager to buy. Not only longer battery life, but imagine how happy the OEMs will be with a battery that doesn't have to be in a little round metal can? Lighter, smaller, more powerful. The company is still predicting first quarter production, and there hasn't been any warnings lately, which I take as good news. Hey, it's a crap shoot, but there is a LOT of upside potential. I'm already 40% to the good, and they haven't sold a battery, yet.
