Separate issue. Are there any engineers out there in this stock??

My question is this. It is clear to me that the secular semiconductor trend is to put more functions on one chip, thereby eliminating many chips. This process clearly reduces the number of chips designed from several to one.

DPMI sales are driven by the number of designs, which would be hurt by a trend to fewer chips in a device, like a cell phone. However more complex chips require more masks. Does anyone know whether DPMI comes out ahead on this trend or behind?? It could be that the makers of the ancillary chips lose their markets, but that the maskmakers actually come out ahead - I just don't know - but consider this trend a significant investment consideration to understand.
